This game was not made for browser, however, I have included an embed version for convenience, there will be issues. I don't think there are any framerate issues, but there are card placement issues and a few visual glitches not present in the standalone version.

Manual:

In this game the player must defeat an AI opponent using a series of tarot cards. The player starts off by drawing 5 cards, and the AI also draws 5. The player can then choose to place cards in either the player or enemy drop off zone. Whenever the player places a card in a drop off zone, it will be sent to the corresponding side, and the enemy will then place a card wherever it feels like. Each zone can only contain up to 5 cards. When the player is ready, they may hit the play button and calculate the damage.

The player can see what attributes a card has by hovering over it. Depending on the active major arcana, it can have damage, poison, block, heal, and lifesteal. It is important to keep track of these effects and when they change.

Attributes are given either when a card is drawn (Future) or when the round is calculated (Past and Present). When the player draws a card, if that card matches the future’s suit, it gains the attribute that card has in it’s future data. When the round is calculated, all cards on the playing field that match the suit of the Major Present Arcana gain it’s attributes in its future data. Additionally all cards in the player/enemy’s hands with a matching suit are given the past’s data in it’s past slot. If the player is lucky the can have a card with 3 separate attributes.

Eventually the player may want to nuke either the opponent’s playing field or their own, whether it be because the opponent has become impervious, the player is taking a lot of damage each turn, or there just isn’t any room on the board to play cards anymore. There are two ways of doing such. Firstly, if the player and enemy both have 5 cards in their hands, and 5 cards in their zones, hitting the play button and calculating the round will clear each zone. This has simply been done to prevent the game from being decided solely by what the present arcana rolls each round.

The more strategic way to clear cards is with a Jack. When you play a Jack into a dropzone, it will clear the entirety of the corresponding playing field and itself. They can even be played when there’s already 5 cards in that field! When cards are cleared they go into the deck of whatever side they are on (including the Jack), while a player simply gets a new deck if they run out of cards, cards keep their attributes when placed back into a deck, and you can use this to your advantage to cycle cards that were previously detrimental to you, into a powerful weapon to be used against your opponent.

The game ends when a player’s health drops to 0. There is no win screen.
